Structural Engineering Laboratory is going to provide a practical support for the theoretical lessons of both Construction Theory and Technology of Materials. It allows the student to make practise on the knowledge achieved during the lessons. The Structural Engineering laboratory allows carrying out exercises on outstanding topics in common technical applications, such as the plotting of the cut diagram, bending moment and straight beam elastic curve.
ISD/002 Machine for Folding Test on Bar Gagger
The machine for folding and straightening bar gagger is all answering to what required by the current normative. The operating principle of the machine is oleodynamic and the speed execution can be regulated, as requested, from the operator by a speed regulator.

ISD/004 Single Span Straight Beam Computerized
The ISD/004 unit is a very effective educational equipment suitable both for the student of construction science and for the technician who has to learn how to use the testing equipment in the yards. It allows the management of computerised tests on single-span beams of different cross-section and material.

IDS/005 Rotating Flexion Testing Machine This machine has been developed for the rapid examination, using the Wohlor process, of metallic material test specimens. The machine is used, especially, by manufacturers who perform series inspections on test specimens formed from materials with different loads and who need to check the material just as it enters production.
 SM208 Beams Equllibrium Frame
The unit has been created for an experimental study of the inflexed beams equilibrium theories, by using beams of different sections and materials, subject to various load configurations. The SM208 permits users to read directly measured values on display and is provided with the most updated industrial electronic and informatics technology for the acquisition and processing of experimental data (option). Its advanced computerization system (option) is able to read in real time the result of tests under study. The unit includes various operation devices and instruments, such as beams of different section, electronic load cells and linear position transmitters, strut buckling apparatus, simple parabolic vault, dedicated software.

SM209 Building Beams Test Frame
The SM209 has been designed for an experimental analytical comparison of the behavior of building beams made of different materials and with different sections and for the training to the use of testing instruments in a yard. It allows users to determine experimentally the modulus of elasticity and load/deflection diagrams, by using beams supplied with the system (concrete, steel, wood) or available in the school lab. Furthermore, it permits trainees to use many devices, such as deflectometer, sclerometer, hygrometer for wood, currently in use. The unit is provided with electronic transmitters, electronic station, oil hydraulic station and hydraulic piston, top quality software. The computerization through a data acquisition is available as option.
